The SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED X10D shielded high density information outlet is the latest result of many years of continuous product development at CommScope Labs and features a patent pending flexible mounting system that enables a single connector to mount in three separate openings (high density, M-Series, and keystone). The HGS620 has a rugged, full-metal construction and allows for multiple size cable terminations for F/UTP and S/FTP installation (0.270 inches up to .300 inches (6.9mm to 7.6mm) diameter over jacket). When used with the SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED X10D shielded modular panels, minimum cable length is dramatically reduced in a channel configuration. CommScope engineers pushed the threshold and reduced the original 15 meter cable length requirement to 5 meters for 3 or 4 connector channels and only 3 meters for 2 connector channels - a more than 65 percent reduction in short channel length. These new short cable requirements give CommScope customers the design freedom to build a Category 6A infrastructure that meets their needs without the hassles of inefficient spacing and slack storage.

The SYSTIMAX PowerSUM Solution was developed to provide a more robust cabling system than Category 5 due to the evolution of 100 Mb/s applications that feature sophisticated encoding algorithms and required simultaneous signal transmission over two or more cable pairs in both directions (full duplex operation).

PowerSUM channel performance specifications exceed not only the current ratified and proposed standards in TIA and ISO for Category 5e cabling systems but are also capable of providing stable and continual performance up to 155.5 MHz.

SYSTIMAX product channels that are comprised exclusively of PowerSUM passive products end-to-end are capable of delivering 1.0 gigabits per second (Gbps) to the workstation in accordance with application standards and are eligible for the SYSTIMAX 20-year Extended Product Warranty and Applications Assurance Program.

CommScope offers three Category 6 solutions to fit your telecommunications needs: UltraPipe, UltraMedia, and Media 6.

Our twisted pair solutions performance is third-party verified, and for UltraPipe and UltraMedia Solutions, even our worst-case statistics are well above the standard requirements for a channel. Our copper connectivity is interchangeable within category, meaning you do not have to change panels or outlets if you upgrade within a category.

Our Category 6 solutions provide excellent headroom for future technology advancements. You are less likely to have a network that is out of date as soon as you complete your installation.

With a full range of connectivity, Uniprise Category 6 solutions are designed to work well together for a wide spectrum of applications. Category 6 solutions are engineered specifically for high-speed, full-duplex, parallel transmission protocols that dominate new technologies, and are ideally suited for Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, broadband video, 155Mbps ATM, 100Mbps TP-PMD/CDDI, and Voice over IP.
