52EU Universal Medium Format Integrated Electronics Outdoor Cabinet
The 52EU offers additional cooling capacity via variable speed fans and additional protection blocks compared to the 52E cabinet, for increased thermal performance and improved acoustic signature. It will house any vendors electronics to provide services including xDSL, Optical Networking, T-1 Extensions and Digital Loop Carrier services, or may be used as a fiber hub or power node in outdoor applications.
CommScope 52EU-Type cabinets include:
- Enhanced Cooling System: supports dense electronic systems/high traffic rate applications and extends battery life (reducing costs).
- Sealed Bays: protect electronics from humidity, dust and rain for improved circuit pack life.
- Improved Physical Design: provides maximum use of cabinet space, flexibility in configuration and resistance to weather, fire and vandalism.
- Reliable: extensive testing and qualification by CommScope Labs to meet all Telcordia GR-487 or equivalent industry standards.
